Strawberry Smoothie Recipe – When I started blogging about my tasty breakfast smoothie and named it Kermit, there was really only one place to go next, so say hello to Miss Piggy! see also : Pumpkin Pie Protein Shake
This is an interesting one with an interesting mix of ingredients and took me a couple of days messing around to get this right.
Again this is low carb, low calorie and full of vitamins and minerals and apparently good for your skin!!
Generous handful of Spinach
Half an Avocado
1 ball of Beetroot (You can buy the prepared non pickled balls in most supermarkets)
3 tablespoons of non fat Greek Yogurt
Half a Lemon or Lime
Sprig of Rosmary (if you have it)
Easy to prepare, only takes 5 minutes.
Roughly chop Avacado, Strawberries, Beetroot and add to blender, add the Spinach, Lemon/Lime and a touch of cold water, blend for 50 seconds.
£12.36 on ingredients, so a little more expensive than Kermit for 5 days.
